A Word from the Editor
We play games here. We’ve said it. Doesn’t matter if the player is someone who only gets to play a few hours a week or stays awake all night staring at the HD trying to get over the next hurdle. We don’t have to restrict ourselves, we aim to find the best version of the best game and give you reasons why something is worthy of your attention. We’re not looking for the best platform, we’re looking for the best experience.

And the best experience to some is competitive PVP. We are also bringing you suggestions on the best place to do so. Which cybercafe is safe? Which one is dodgy? You’ll find out here. Looking for other like minded people to blast your way through a zombie apocalypse? You’ll find them here too.

If you’re into.. cuter.. things, there’s a place here for that too. From the virtual to the real, take your pick. Gaming can get repetitive at time, gamers need distractions from life and.. well, (virtual) life.

The best thing to spend hours on, the best place to spend hours in, the best people to spend hours with, we’ll show you where and how to get started. Let’s get started and say it proud!

WE.PLAY.GAMES.
  • Cassandra Khaw
  • Cassandra Khaw is one of those people who takes pride in the fact she's a full-time, hardcore geek. She claims to be capable of reading binary still and spends too much time rewriting her code. By day, she's a PHP programmer who moonlights as designer. By night, she's either MUDding, in a cybercafe or practicing street dance. She can also be bribed with penguins and brownies. Right now, she's webmistress and columnist for TK-Nation as well as a contributing writer at JayIsGames.
  • Andrew Ting
  • Andrew Ting is a Chinese-American geek who enjoys indie games, heavy SCA combat and LARPing. Since he doesn't get paid enough for his work, he's also picked up a few tricks on being a cheap bastard (hence his equally cheap bastard of a column here). His SEA cultural credentials involve having lived in Malaysia for a few years, where he learned to smoke a hookah like a pro and cried like a little girl at hot mamak food, sambal, other little girls, and the spicy Chicken McNuggets your infernal McDonalds used to serve.
  • Sen
  • When Sen fractured its skull at 9 months old, falling from the kitchen counter 'cause its dad was busy playing Zelda, it knew it wanted to have video games be a part of its life. Since 2 1/2 years old, digital fiends of all kinds have fallen in its wake, and now Sen is in school to unleash the same threat upon new, hopefully non-brain damaged children, in the hopes to create a legacy of its own. When not gaming, Sen can be found under any inconspicuous mountain of Mello Yello bottles in a sugar induced coma.
  • Maridah
  • Maridah is a cosplayer and has been making costumes for herself and friends for over a decade. Her cosplay has been featured in several publications including Otacool 2, Cosplay in America, and Cosmode. Aside from being a fan of anime and cosplay, she loves to collect figures and is a lifelong Star Wars nerd.
  • linkinstreet
  • If he's not working (sleeping) at his workplace at UTM International Campus in Kuala Lumpur, linkinstreet writes for Lowyat.net, Sankaku Complex, and also his own blog Wakarimasenlol.com. He also can be found stalking cosplayer's picture, especially those with C cup and above. Other than that you can find him at the National Stadium cheering on the Harimau Malaya team, Sepang F1 Track watching races, or at a local Mamak cheering for Arsenal
  • Nicolas Nathan
  • Former professional COD4 Player, Nicolas now spend most of his time diving his attention between high-profile raids in World of Warcraft, writing Starcraft 2 strategy guides, raging at incompetents in the gaming industry and working on regional PR.
